MATT SORUM Interviewed On 'The Paulie Z Show'; Audio Available

VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES drummer Matt Sorum was interviewed earlier this month on "The Paulie Z Show". The chat is now available for streaming using the audio player below.

As previously reported, Sorum has formed "a new musical consciousness" with American guitarist, songwriter and producer Lanny Cordola (GIUFFRIA, HOUSE OF LORDS, MAGDALLAN). Dubbed GLOBAL SOUND LODGE, the project's first song, entitled "Hands Together", which features a guest appearance by Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES),is available for streaming below. Sorum said, "Hands Together" was written for the Hatian people in this time of tragedy in their homeland." He added, "We hope to build a group of international musicians with varied humanitarian efforts based on situations around the world that need our attention.

"John Coltrane believed music can heal the world in his song 'Love Supreme'. John Lennon had this vision as well.

"GLOBAL SOUND LODGE have songs ready to record for Aung San Suu Kyi[and] Neda [Soltan] who was shot during the Iranian elections.

"After many years traveling the world playing music and meeting so many people. I believe it is in us all to come together with love and music to help one another."
